My research focuses on theoretical high-energy physics and my interests range from the phenomenology of Standard Model to more formal aspects of field theories and scattering amplitudes:

  • Phenomenology of the Top Quark at LHC and beyond
  • Multi-loop scattering amplitudes for massive particles
  • Quantum effective field theories of gravity and their implications for classical observables

My research interests include Astrophysics, Cosmology, and High-Energy and Particle Physics. I previously worked on studying scattering amplitudes techniques. My current research focuses on the study of the gravitational waveform for a spinning binary black-hole.

Luz Silvana Rodríguez Meléndez
Master Student (2024 - present)

Graduated from the Faculty of Physical-Mathematical Sciences at BUAP, Mexico. I am currently part of the Graduate Program in Physical Sciences at UNAM. My main interest lies in particle physics and high-energy physics, where I work on Top-Quark Phenomenology.

Before joining this field, I worked in optics, which gave me a broader perspective on the current research areas in physics. This, along with my participation in various conferences and research internships, has allowed me to deepen my understanding of theoretical physics in both fields.

Today, my goal is to continue exploring the frontiers of theoretical physics and contribute to the advancement of knowledge, specifically in high-energy physics.
